Fall Fleece Flower
Another Multiflower but again the color and flavor give its source away. Like our Spring Multiflower, this harvest came from our Allenwood Apiary, where the late summer to fall finds it’s borders full of Japanese Knotweed or Fleece Flower.
Tasting Notes: Reddish hue and very viscous; Malt, molasses & sorghum with a slight fermented after taste.
Great for baking, making mead, bochet, caramels, and kombucha; pairs well with strong cheese but is particularly marvelous with Brie; makes for a fabulous meat glaze.
